Sketchnotes Settlement Overview

The most interesting thing I learned about the influence of climate, physical  features, and natural resources on settlement is the different climate types. I found it interesting that we live in a continental climate and climate types you don't want to live in.  I’m most proud of my climate section in my sketchnotes. I drew where to live in and where not to live which helps me understand more about climate. I also drew weather types in my climate section and they look good to me because I’m not great at drawing.

Globalization Sketchnotes

  The most interesting thing that I learned about Globalization and Trade was why trade. I thought this was interesting because I enjoyed to learn about improving standard of living by trade. Another reason why I thought it was interesting is because when we get older in life we will make trades to improve our wealth and way of life as well.

       The part that I’m most proud of on my sketchnotes is my symbols and pictures that I have.              I’m proud of the pictures because some of them stand out to me. I like the picture in why trade where I did a picture of a house slowly getting bigger and better. I also like the picture of when I did the rights with the x through it. That helps me understand trade and globalization a lot better.

Social studies standard of living

A country’s standard of living doesn’t show how everyone lives. Because there some people that are homeless in the US and the US has a very high standard of living and being homeless isn't a high standard of living.

The most interesting thing about standard of living to me is the difference countries education and literacy rate. Its sad to see some countries with around 70% they don't get the education that kids should get.

USA helps some low standard of living countries. But not a lot of those   

countries. USA and other high standard of living countries should donate

money or medicine to other countries with low standard of living.

Economy Visual Note Taking

Economy and Me, How economy is in my life

Economy is in my life in many ways. Some ways is production, distribution, consumption, goods and services. Production is in my life every day  because of paper, factories,  desks and clothes. This is  production because factories produce these items. They also manufacture these items as well. Distribution is in my life because of cargo ships , trucks , post offices and banks.  This shows distribution because they distribute Items and good to other places. Cargo ships travel place to place, they distribute the cargo, then they give  them to  trucks, and the trucks distribute them to other stores. Consumption is in my everyday life. We consume this like desks, Inhalers and clothes. Another example is food but  it's only when you buy food. Another example are goods for example a computer is a good, clothes are a good, water is Goods, and phones and shelter are goods as well. Goods are mostly everything that you can buy. These examples are goods because the help you in your everyday life. Last example that Economy is in my life by services . Services are jobs like Teachers, Military, Dunkin Donuts drive-thru person, Bus driver, and lastly a carpenter. Economy is my life in so many ways.

Help Others and Be Bothered

It is important to be bothered because it gives you courage and determination, and you are caring to help others for example. When we watched the video on the boy that gave out rubber duck and dinosaurs he was bothered by not seeing people smile. The little boy did something about it and he was determined to make people smile. Another Example is that if someone has cancer, that person has to try and stay strong, and people should help out and help raise money. Also It is important to be bothered because if someone tells me you can’t do that , I’m bothered by it, and I want to prove them wrong so I work harder and prove them wrong and I’m determined to prove them that I can do it. My Last Example is that when you see someone upset or lonely like if someone is sitting alone at lunch, go sit next them and it shows that you are caring. One person could change the world.
